The MGF Register attends serveral events every year. Please find details of some of our upcomming events below:
Mid Suffolk Light Railway - 'The Middy Line'
Sunday 31st August
The Mid-Suffolk Light Railway was originally envisaged as a way of opening up the central areas of Suffolk to the rest of the county and the country. Mid-Suffolk was made up predominantly of farming communities, but ones which were quite far from the larger local markets in Bury St. Edmunds, Stowmarket and Ipswich.
Brockford Station, Wetheringsett, Stowmarket, Suffolk, IP14 5PW. The MSLR Museum and Station is just off the A140 Ipswich (14 miles) to Norwich (28 miles) Road. Look for the Mendlesham TV mast and then follow the brown signs.

MG Car Club Fest North
Saturday 6th - Sunday 7th September
The MG Car Club is delighted to announce MG Fest North, a thrilling two-day festival celebrating the Club’s 95th anniversary. Taking place at the iconic Croft Circuit near Darlington, this action-packed weekend promises something for every MG enthusiast, motoring fan, and family looking for a memorable day out.

Wiscombe Park Hillclimb
Saturday 13th September
The South West Centre are organising a speed hillclimb at this fabulous venue. A Club Members package is available for members who wish to spectate at this event.
The Club Members package offers a dedicated, reserved area in our public car park, for up to 30 car’s, where they can park together in two row’s – the traditional “car
show format”. The normal entry price for ticket’s purchased online in advance is £12 per person (on the gate £14) – as part of our special package, the price to member’s is £11 each, which also includes a programme per car, valued at £2.
The itinerary for the MGCC Wiscombe Park event is as follow’s:
8.30am Gates open
9.00am Timed practice runs commence – 1 run per driver
10:30 (approx) Timed Competition Runs commence
12/12.30pm Lunch break
1.30/2.00pm Timed competition runs commence – 2 further runs per driver
5pm End of the meeting
Please note, these timing’s are subject to change due to incident’s on the hill affecting the running order
There is free access all day to the paddock for a close look at the car’s – our sport is very friendly, and the drivers will be happy to chat and answer your question’s.
We also offer a good selection of food and refreshment’s available in the bottom paddock.

National Weekender
Friday 19th - Monday 22nd September
The F Register are pleased to be hold another National Weekender in 2025. This time we're headed to Scotland! The weekend promises to be an unforgetable experience.

AWC Autumn Leaves Run
Sunday 5th October
Following the success of the 2024 Autumn Leaves Run, The Abingdon Works Centre is holding the event again in 2025. We will once again be commencing from The Walled Garden in West Wycombe and finishing at the Lambert Arms Hotel for refreshments and lunches.
The route will be scenic through the Chiltern Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty taking in the backroads, and maybe a footpath too.
Fuller details and booking form will be released nearer to the event.

Ice Cream Sundae Run
Sunday 12th October
Starting from Neston close to the England/Wales border this run will take in some super scenary with a delicious sweet ending.

MGF Register Christmas Party
Saturday 13th - Sunday 14th December
With pleasure we announce this years Christmas In Chilterns weekend.
Following the success of last years event we are set to return to the Lambert Arms Hotel near Thame.
Arrival mulled wine & mince pie, plenty of social space for the afternoon, and best of all: Bernie Tiller is BACK with his SPECTRA Disco, and so is Alice.....
Double occupancy will be £235 and single £195. This includes a three course dinner on the Saturday and breakfast on Sunday.

Chairman's Weekend 2026
Saturday 21st - Sunday 22nd March

Following the success of last years weekend we are returning to The New Inn at Heckfield.
Arrival from midday with a run out in the afternoon, this time without TomTom leading the way!
Group dinner and drinks on Saturday evening and then a visit to an attraction TBC on the Sunday.

European Event of the Year 2026 - Hosted by The MG Club de France
Thursday 21st - Sunday 24th May
The MG Club de France is set to host the 2026 EEOTY. Being held in the Périgord Region with Brive-La-Gaillarde playing base for the four days. Booking is set to open on Monday 15th September.
