The MGF Register attends serveral events every year. Please find details of some of our upcomming events below:
MG Cockshoot Cup at Donington Park
Saturday 7th June
The Cockshoot Cup Championship is a racing championship run by the British Racing and Sports Car Club (BRSCC) for members of the MG Car Club. It provides an opportunity for owners of MG sports and saloon cars to race.
We are looking forward to the racing set to be held at Donington on 07/06.

Abingdon Distinguished Drive Out Day
Sunday 22nd June
Details to come for this event as the route is still being finalised. The drive will be predominantly across Buckinghamshire. The event will be open to all MG Car Club members and models, with a vintage costume theme as it's the MGCC's 95th anniversary.
MGF30 - Celebration Drive Out
Saturday 5th July
Be part of a maximum 100 MGF/TF's enjoying a scenic drive around the wondrous Warwickshire countryside taking in some of the original MGF Launch Routes celebrating this special 30th Anniversary of these great cars.
Commencing and finishing at the Mercure Walton Hall Hotel, you will be departing from 2.00pm.
Entry is £5 per car and includes Route book and Miniature Rally Plate and is open to current MGCC & European MGCC members as a benefit of MGCC membership.

MGF30 - Show Day
Sunday 6th July
MGF 30 is to be held at the British Motor Museum in Warwickshire. It is Organised by the MGF Register and is set to celebrate 30 years since the launch of the MGF. Please see the dedicated web page for more information.

MGCC Midland Centre Summer Sprint
Sunday 3rd August
Being held at Curborough Nr. Lichfield
A round of the MGCC Speed Championship on the Figure of 8 circuit. This is open to all public, so make an MG Day of it and join us to watch the action.
This event is the Midland Centres celebration of 30 years of the MGF. Entry is free of charge for this gathering with some motorsport to watch with the sprint event.

British Motor Show
Friday 15th - Sunday 17th August
'The greatest show on wheels' returns this year and we are looking forward to attending once again. The Show is taking place at Farnborough International Exhibition Centre, where the world-famous Air Show is held. This offers visitors an unmatched combination of both indoor and outdoor space.

MG Car Club Fest North

The MG Car Club is delighted to announce MG Fest North, a thrilling two-day festival celebrating the Club’s 95th anniversary. Taking place at the iconic Croft Circuit near Darlington, this action-packed weekend promises something for every MG enthusiast, motoring fan, and family looking for a memorable day out.

Wiscombe Park Hillclimb
Saturday 13th September
The South West Centre are organising a speed hillclimb at this fabulous venue. A Club Members package is available for members who wish to spectate at this event.
The Club Members package offers a dedicated, reserved area in our public car park, for up to 30 car’s, where they can park together in two row’s – the traditional “car
show format”. The normal entry price for ticket’s purchased online in advance is £12 per person (on the gate £14) – as part of our special package, the price to member’s is £11 each, which also includes a programme per car, valued at £2.
The itinerary for the MGCC Wiscombe Park event is as follow’s:
8.30am Gates open
9.00am Timed practice runs commence – 1 run per driver
10:30 (approx) Timed Competition Runs commence
12/12.30pm Lunch break
1.30/2.00pm Timed competition runs commence – 2 further runs per driver
5pm End of the meeting
Please note, these timing’s are subject to change due to incident’s on the hill affecting the running order
There is free access all day to the paddock for a close look at the car’s – our sport is very friendly, and the drivers will be happy to chat and answer your question’s.
We also offer a good selection of food and refreshment’s available in the bottom paddock.

National Weekender

We are looking forward to a visit to the Black Country Museum in Dudley. This will be an excellent chance to catch up with MGF Register friends outside of our usual car show settings.

MGF Register Christmas Party
Saturday 13th - Sunday 14th December
With pleasure we announce this years Christmas In Chilterns weekend.
Following the success of last years event we are set to return to the Lambert Arms Hotel near Thame.
Arrival mulled wine & mince pie, plenty of social space for the afternoon, and best of all: Bernie Tiller is BACK with his SPECTRA Disco, and so is Alice.....
Double occupancy will be £235 and single £195. This includes a three course dinner on the Saturday and breakfast on Sunday.

Chairman's Weekend 2026
Saturday 21st - Sunday 22nd March

Following the success of last years weekend we are returning to The New Inn at Heckfield.
Arrival from midday with a run out in the afternoon, this time without TomTom leading the way!
Group dinner and drinks on Saturday evening and then a visit to an attraction TBC on the Sunday.
